To produce a branded event advertising Twinings range of SUPERBLENDS teas. Twinings were keen to use the power of podcast advertising to reach potential customers. They wanted to incorporate this with a branded event to generate exposure and engage social media users and influencers for further reach.
With a history dating back to 1706, quality tea has always been at the heart of what Twinings do. Renowned for creating vibrant and aromatic blends that are loved by all, from Earl Grey and English Breakfast to Chai Lattes and super fruity infusions.
With acast we suggested a LIVE podcasting event, which would consist of recording a series of podcasts in front of a live audience. Key to organising a successful event was finding high caliber podcasters and guests that were the right fit for the brand. It was important to also source influential Podcasters and Guests that had a high social media following to increase the reach of the event.
Several social media influencers were invited along as audience members, thereby harnessing the power of their social influence and maximising the presence of the event on social media.
We produced and record 3 x LIVE podcasts in front of an audience of 80 social media influencers, podcast fans and guests. The podcasts recorded on the day were Katie Piper’s Extraordinary People, Emma Gannon’s Ctrl Alt Delete podcast, and Standard Issue.
Creative Fix were responsible for the entire management and production of the event. We sourced and branded the prestigious central London venue and did everything from organising the catering to ensuring every guest left with a goodie bag. We managed and briefed the podcasters and guests and recorded and produced the event. We organised the audience of social media influencers, podcast fans, press.
