To produce a “best of” event podcast, showcasing highlights from Mindshare’s annual Huddle event.
HUDDLE plays host to a jam-packed agenda of intimate and no-holds-barred discussions about the future of media. There’s no PowerPoint and no boring panels: just a mix of leading media, cultural and tech players, entrepreneurs, academics and interested amateurs.
We identified the benefit of getting a professional Presenter on board to give a real insight into the day. This was to provide a narrative for the event and participate in proceedings to give a genuine feel of it. Our presenter, Capital Radio’s Kat Shoob, was our reporter on the day, engaging with event participants, guests, speakers and recording interviews, soundbites and moments. She engaged in the action, took part in the fun and in doing this, banked a huge amount of audio for us to use in producing an authentic experience of the event. Having Kat there gave the podcast context, provided a sense of the day and gave an over arching view of what it was like to be at the event.
Our team on the ground included our Presenter, a Producer, our Social Media Manager and our audio engineer.
