Over half the population of South Korea listen to podcasts monthly, while two out of three Koreans admit to being podcast fans.
South Korea is closely followed by Spain with 58% of the population being podcast fans and it is in other Spanish speaking countries where podcast popularity is becoming increasingly popular.
Chile, Argentina, Peru and Mexico currently top list of the fastest-growing countries for podcasting.
Chile boasts the largest increase with 85% compared to the previous year while coming in with the fifth-highest rate in China (44%).
